Faculty Relations is working with the Integrated Service Centre (ISC), Human Resources and Dean’s Offices to arrange for all increases for 2025 and 2026 to be processed. The 2025 3% General Wage Increase (GWI) and the Labour Market Salary Adjustment (LMSA) of 1% for EL Faculty and 1.5% for Lecturers, will be processed at the same time as the 2026 increases (GWI, LMSA, Career Progress, etc). FR anticipates these will be processed on the August 15th paycheque.
The 1% lump sum paid to regular members of the bargaining unit has been manually calculated and includes the 3% GWI and (as applicable) the LMSA for 2025, and will be paid on the June 30th paycheque. The lump sum payment will appear under the payment plan “Faculty – Annual Lump Sum”. This payment is made as per Article 6 of Part 2 of the Agreement (Salaries and Economic Benefits).
We also anticipate processing the 2025 & 2026 GWI and LMSA for Sessional Lecturers on the August 15th paycheque. The lump sum for Sessional Lecturers will be paid as per usual on the September 30th paycheque.
