Second Annual Contract Faculty Publication Display
Call for Submissions
The UBC Faculty Association Contract Faculty Committee, in partnership with UBC Library, presents the Second Annual Contract Faculty Publication Display scheduled for Thursday, February 16, 2017, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Lillooet Room, Irving K. Barber Learning Commons. We are now accepting submissions. Your work must have been published within the last 5 calendar years, and may be a monograph, an article in a journal or an academic or non-academic piece (e.g. a performance; book of illustrations; a book of poetry; a novel). We are also accepting excerpts of performances, TED talks, etc.
Submission Options
- Mail or bring in (by appointment) a published book or video in person to BUTO 422
- Email a copy of your article or bring in (by appointment) a hard copy in person to BUTO 422
- Email a link to your talk/performance.

Third Annual Contract Faculty Colloquium –
Call for Proposals
The UBC Faculty Association Contract Faculty Committee, in partnership with UBC Library, presents the Third Annual Contract Faculty Colloquium, which provides contract faculty an opportunity to share with and learn from their contract faculty colleagues across campus in a genial, relaxed atmosphere.

Location: Lillooet Room, I.K. Barber Learning Commons
We invite proposals for presentations on your field-specific research, pedagogical research or pedagogical practice. We’re looking for very brief (10 minute) talks or poster presentations. This is an ideal opportunity to rehearse for an upcoming conference, recap something you recently presented, share an innovative idea and perhaps find a collaborator or research partner. If you’re interested in presenting, please send a very brief proposal to Dr. S. Bose ([email protected]) (3 points, 100 words max.) Team proposals are welcome. We’re really looking forward to receiving your proposal!
