Dear UBC Okanagan members,
I wanted to update you about the status of the Okanagan Faculty Committee (OFC). You are likely aware that the incoming committee Chair, Gino DiLabio, has been appointed Dean pro tem as of July 1st and therefore is not a member of the Faculty Association for the duration of that appointment. The FA’s Executive Committee will discuss how to fill the OFC Chair position when we reconvene in September, after which time we’ll send a notice to campus advising how we will proceed. In the meantime, please direct any issues that arise that would normally be dealt with through the OFC Chair to me ([email protected]).
