UBC Faculty Association Fall GM

The UBCFA Constitution requires that a General Meeting be held every fall term. The first order of business will be to reappoint Achieve CPAs, LLP as auditors for the 2023 fiscal year. Following the business portion of the meeting, the chair of our bargaining committee, Dr. Elizabeth Hodgson will do a presentation on bargaining which is ongoing. Please find the full agenda linked here: Fall General Meeting Agenda. Our meeting will be hybrid to accommodate both in person and virtual attendance (via Zoom). If you will be attending in person, the location of the meeting rooms are as follows (please note, there has been a change to the UBCV room):
- UBCV Campus: Liu Institute, Case Room
- UBCO Campus: ARTS 353B
This meeting is restricted to bargaining unit members. To ensure the integrity of the meeting and the privacy of participants, please RSVP to the Faculty Association so that we know to expect you. You will receive a link to the meeting on October 27th. We ask that you do not share this link with others.
The chat will be enabled for communication between the hosts and participants. If you have any concerns with your ability to participate in the discussions, please let us know and we will work with you to arrange a suitable accommodation. You may also email your question or comment to the Faculty Association for review after the meeting. Please note that emails will not form part of the official meeting minutes.
