The UBC community is invited to comment on the proposed amendments to the COI Policy (SC3) and its associated Procedures (together referred to as the “Policy”). The Policy has been in place since 1992 and last underwent a comprehensive review and revision in 2005.
A Policy Development Committee (the “Committee”) has been convened to develop proposed amendments to the Policy and has prepared a draft proposal.

The proposed amendments are now published for community consultation and all members of UBC’s community are encouraged to provide their comments. You can provide your comments to the Faculty Association before Monday, January 8th, 2024 to be considered as we formulate the Association’s response.
You also have the option of forwarding your questions and concerns regarding the Policy Proposal directly to the University Counsel at [email protected]. If you submit to the University directly, we would appreciate you copying us ([email protected]). The University submission deadline is Sunday, January 21, 2024.
