Campus Vision 2050
Curious about planning the physical campus to be ready for the future of teaching, learning and research? Join us to learn about UBC Campus + Community Planning’s work and share your ideas for the future of the campus through Campus Vision 2050!
Join the Faculty Association and UBC Campus + Community Planning (C+CP) for an interactive session to learn more about C+CP’s work, with a focus on the comprehensive land-use planning process they are leading called Campus Vision 2050 that will guide the physical development of the Vancouver campus. The session will include a presentation, discussion, and optional time for you to share your input on 5 Big Ideas for the future of the campus and choices we will have to make in planning the future campus. C+CP’s presentation will include background on the Trek endowment and how academic space planning is being considered as part of Campus Vision 2050.
The session will be held on Tuesday Sept. 27th from 4-5:30pm in the BC Hydro Theatre in the CIRS Building, 2260 West Mall (light refreshments will be provided). There is also a Zoom option for those unable to attend in person.
