Title: Using Technology to Enhance Student Learning

Dr. Ray Hsu from the department of Gender, Race and Social Justice, and founder of the Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality Group at UBC will present on the use of learning technology in the classroom. There will be opportunities for interactive sessions with the virtual reality technology, which can provide many new possibilities for our work with students. Come and join your fellow Contract Faculty members at this exciting event.

In this workshop, participants will discuss:

  • the types of challenges international students may face in the classroom;
  • suggestions and strategies faculty can use to support international students in their academic success.
