& Collective Agreement Info Session

A reminder that the UBCFA Annual General Meeting will be held next week to present the 2025 Annual Report, which includes a review of the audited financial statements. Please find the full agenda here: 2026 Annual General Meeting Agenda.
An Information Session on the new tentative Collective Agreement 2025-2029 will follow the business portion of the AGM. Ratification ballots and voting instructions have been sent separately. Voting remains open until 4:30pm on June 4th.
The meeting will be held via Zoom and is restricted to UBCFA bargaining unit members. Please RSVP to the Faculty Association with your UBC email account so that your identity can be verified. You will receive a link to the meeting the morning of Tuesday, May 26th. In order to ensure the integrity of the AGM, we ask that you do not share this link with others.
The chat will be enabled for communication between the hosts and participants. If you have any concerns with your ability to participate in the discussions, please let us know and we will work with you to arrange a suitable accommodation. You may also email your question or comment to the Faculty Association for review after the meeting. Please note that emails will not form part of the official meeting minutes.
The BC Societies Act maintains that unless quorum is met, the Faculty Association must hold a subsequent meeting the following week to conduct the business of the Association. Quorum under our Constitution and Bylaws is currently 20 members.
