Give a presentation at the March 24 Colloquium
Take this opportunity to share your work with your colleagues
We still have space for short (7-minute) talks or poster presentations on your field-specific research, pedagogical research or pedagogical practice at our Thursday, March 24th Colloquium. This is an ideal opportunity to rehearse for an upcoming conference, recap something you recently presented, share an innovative idea and perhaps find a collaborator or research partner. Please send a very brief proposal to [email protected] (3 points, 100 words max.) by January 22, 2016. Team proposals are welcome!
Exhibit your latest publications on Thursday, March 17
In partnership with UBC Library, the Faculty Association's Contract Faculty Committee will be holding a celebration of work by UBC's contract (sessional) faculty. Please contact Sarika Bose, Contract Faculty Committee Chair as soon as possible if you would like your publication to be included in this display. Material will be exhibited on the afternoon of March 17, 2016. The celebratory exhibition is open to all contract faculty. UBC's interim President and Provost will be invited to attend.
Your publication must meet the following criteria:
- scholarly or creative work
- monograph, article, chapter in a collection, an edited work
- CD or other (e.g. music, fine arts, theatre, film)
- published between January 2013- present
Material will be required at the latest by March 16, 2pm in BUTO 422.
