Our Collective Agreement is the legal document protecting our rights and governing our work as UBC employees. Its terms are negotiated between the university administration and the Faculty Association, and it is in force until a new agreement is ratified. It governs many of the terms and conditions of our work at UBC.
The Collective Agreement is composed of several component sections. Several Letters of Understanding (LOU) and Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) are also part of the Collective Agreement. The most recent Collective Agreement covers the period between July 1, 2014 – June 30, 2016. A PDF of this agreement is now posted to our site and is available here as a pdf.
